1. Analog outside line
This takes the form of an ordinary 2-core or multi-core analog telephone line. 1 pair (2 cores) can be connected to a telephone set and provide a telephone number.
The analog trunk line does not have more than one pair of telephone lines corresponding to a fixed telephone number, and can support multiple simultaneous calls, supporting multiple calls to a number, which is conducive to the display of corporate image, and is used more by small and medium-sized enterprises.

2. Digital outside line
Called PRI(primary rate interface), 30B + D. The form of expression is optical fiber, through the optical fiber into the enterprise and after the optical terminal adapter into coaxial cable or RJ45 (4 core) interface, and telephone exchange connection. A digital trunk, capable of supporting 30 simultaneous voice inbound and outbound calls and simultaneous office calls, is equivalent to a 30-way analog trunk. This type of external line is more suitable for large and medium-sized enterprises with large call volumes or large number usage.
