Emergency Failover Solution

We all afraid being trapped int the elevator, normally, the emergency button will act as an analog terminals for emergency calls in the building elevator. New Rock FXO port gateways provide failover function and got your back, check 3 different ways for emergency failover.

Solution Background

When the VoIP gateway disconnects from the SIP server, it needs to use the analog terminal to make outbound calls and realize emergency failover and reliability.

Function Definition
Use the FXO gateway to provide customers with alternative lines.
When the FXS VoIP gateway and SIP server is disconnected, the call is automatically sent to the FXO PSTN line for outbound calls, providing a high-reliability guarantee for the customer's voice communication in the elevator.

Solution1---Failover with Non-FXS/FXO Hybrid Gateway
1. The FXS gateway registers to the SIP server through the Internet, and the FXO gateway connects to PSTN.
2. FXS and FXO gateway in the same local network.

3. Using the active standby function of the FXS gateway, when the SIP server is not accessible, the calls will be sent to the FXO gateway, realizing emergency failover.



Solution2---Failover with FXS+FXO Hybrid Gateway
1. The VoIP gateway has both FXS and FXO ports.
2. FXS registers to the SIP server through the Internet, and the FXO ports connect to PSTN.

3. Using the failover function of the gateway, when the SIP server is not accessible, the calls will be sent to the FXO ports.



Solution3---Failover with MA50-LS
1. Users' terminals connect to the SIP server through  MA50-LS.
2. Obtain local survivability from MA50-LS when disconnected from the SIP server by 4G or FXO port.

3. Internal extension dialing and outbound calls will not be affected when the SIP server disconnected.
